Apex Tool Group (ATG), one of the world’s largest manufacturers of hand tools and power tools, is looking for a Senior Digital Content Specialist. This role is based in ATG’s Huntersville, North Carolina office (20 minutes outside of Charlotte, NC).
The Senior Digital Content Specialist is responsible for managing CRM tools and customer data, working with brand marketing to activate email campaigns, editing and updating website content via a CMS, and maintaining the GEARWRENCH.com chatbot for seamless customer interactions across digital channels. In this role, the Content Specialist must be willing to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure digital initiatives align with overall business objectives.

The Build (Responsibilities)
- CRM: Manage, maintain and expand CRM databases across brands, acting as the Hubspot subject matter expert within the Digital Center of Excellence.
- Email Marketing: Manage the ideation and implementation of brand email campaigns in support of new product launches and promotions, driving traffic and conversion to ATG brand websites or channel partner sites (i.e. retailers/distributors). Coordinate campaign deployment with other marketing channels to maximize market impact.
- A/B Testing: Embrace a test and learn culture to maximize campaign results and enhance digital marketing performance. Implement and maintain an A/B testing plan, regularly analyzing results and producing case studies to inform future campaign strategy.
- Website Maintenance: Edit, refine, and update website content via CMS, ensuring all materials are accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand messaging.
- Chat: Manage the GEARWRENCH.com chatbot, acting as the Sprinklr subject matter expert within the Digital Center of Excellence. Regularly update workflows and optimize the chatbot to enhance user engagement and ensure seamless, efficient interactions on the website.
- Project Management: Independently manage multiple projects, effectively prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. Leverage project management software workflows to track and manage projects, working cross-functionally with brand activation partners.
The Toolbox (Qualifications)
- BA/BS in marketing, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant content management work experience
- Experience in managing projects, workflows, deadlines, and outside vendors.
- Experience in the tools industry is not required but experience editing and maintaining content across multiple platforms is a must.
- Solid experience working with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce), content management systems (Acquia, Sitecore, Wordpress) and chatbots (Sprinklr).
- Reliable time management skills with the ability to work on a deadline.
